Orchestration Lifecycle

How a request becomes a recorded verdict, how deeper AI analysis happens afterwards, and what QUORUM does when a component fails.

01
The Real-Time Path
#StageWhat happensOn failure
01AuthenticateAPI key and organization checked; request scoped to one institution.Rejected (401/403)
02Validate & mapInput validated and mapped to rule facts. Anything not supplied is left absent — no defaults are invented.Rejected (400)
03Behavioural scoreSignals compared with the user's baseline, if one exists for this institution.Error, no verdict
04RulesThe institution's rule set evaluated in-process; velocity counted from the decision log.No verdict (503 / code 91)
05VerdictScores combined and mapped to VERIFIED, AUTHORIZED, ELEVATED_RISK or ISOLATED.—
06RecordCanonical decision record hashed and stored before the response is sent.No verdict (503)
07RespondVerdict, score, flags and decision ID returned.—
02
After the Response
Ledger seal

Every few seconds, new records go under a Merkle root in a signed ledger entry. The sealer is safe to run on several instances.

Counterfactual certificate

Issued for each block off the response path, so a failure never changes the decision.

AI deep analysis

Sentinel, Inquisitor and Adversarial evaluate queued cases in parallel; arbitration runs on disagreement or high risk. Findings go to analysts.

03
Isolation and Performance

Every request is bound to one institution, and stored behavioural baselines are used only for users of that institution. Each institution's rules are loaded separately and kept in sync across instances.

No per-stage latency budget or throughput target is claimed. Per-channel latency under a defined load will be measured in a pilot and published with its test conditions.
